Mei works as the manager of a beauty salon while her husband is on a long-term solo assignment. Hatakeyama, a salesperson for beauty products, harbors feelings for Mei. Though both know the other is married, they grow closer through conversations about their spouses. That night, alone together in the unusually dark salon, aware of each other's presence and fueled by alcohol, they cross the line.
