This is a documentary about a daughter and father on the verge of family collapse. After her parents' divorce, the daughter Mai (pseudonym) has lived alone with her father since childhood. As she grows up, Mai stops smiling. Gradually, she stops going to school, and the parent-child relationship with her father becomes strained...
